Bodega Bay

We had a nice little get away up the coast this weekend to Bodega Bay. We rented a house with a bunch of friend's right on the 8th hole of Bodega Harbor Golf Links. Unfortunately I didn't get to play golf but it was a nice and relaxing weekend. It was nice to hang out with my girls and friends and family with no real plans other than to relax. Trying to keep two almost two year olds entertained all weekend is a little less than relaxing but we had a great time anyway. Here are a few snaps I took just for fun.

This is the view from the patio

It was really fun to spend a lot of time with my niece Lyla all weekend. She is so cute and smiley and has the cutest little giggle.

S. Family

The S. Family came all the way from the east coast to visit family, San Francisco, and Yosemite. They also hired me to take their family pictures. It's hard to compete with the rest of their itinerary but I sure had fun hanging out for a few hours and snapping some shots. Thanks for letting me be a part of your vacation!

First Haircuts

The girls have grown some really awesome looking mullets over the last 22 months. We finally decided to give up on waiting for the rest of their hair to catch up with the back so we took them to get their first haircuts over the weekend. Heres a little slideshow of some of the snaps I took.

Where have I been?

Where have I been? We'll, I'd like to apologize to the millions and millions of people that visit this blog everyday hoping to see an update but only to leave disappointed. I have been busy moving my office out of the soon to be "Deboe baby #3" nursery and into a little den we have in our house. I actually started this process awhile ago but finally got around to buying some new desks. I have to say that I'm currently sitting in a complete disaster area. The thing is when you look through Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrell catalogs and see how great all those entertainment centers and home offices look, the thing you don't see is the 8 gazillion feet of wires and cables running all over the place. What are you supposed to do with all that crap? How are you supposed to make things looks nice when every single thing you "need" on or around your desk comes with a cable /wire, big ass power supply and power cord, and some other random wire that needs to plug into something else? I'm doing my best but I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle.

Hopefully at some point I'll finish and be able to post a picture of my awesome new home office. For now though, here are a few shots of the girls and even one of our typical family photos.

These are Addison's wire frame glasses! They are lighter than her plastic ones and are way more comfortable for her. She is doing so awesome with wearing them.

Here's my Morgan and her eye lashes.

Being a photographer you would think that I'd have a bunch of great family photos of us. Unfortunatly it doesnt work that way. Alicia's sister snapped this one of us and it's pretty typical of our family portrait chaos, but hey, i'll take what I can get.
