I survived the frozen north of Minnesota

I had the most amazing weekend in Minnesota at a workshop hosted by the awesome Mark Stein of Mark Stein Fashion-Style Photography. I wanted to post this yesterday but I needed a day to thaw out from the -16 degree temperatures I was in all weekend. That's not a typo by the way, it was minus 16 degrees below zero. Mark is one of the best senior photographers in the country and he and his beautiful wife Stacey were gracious enough to host me and a bunch of other photographers from around the country at their amazing studio in downtown St. Cloud. Mark shared so much with everyone and it was so fun to see how other photographers work with similar subjects and lighting conditions. It was fun working with the senior models Mark brought in but I also got the opportunity to have a quick session with Mark, Stacey and their daughter Olivia who is just the cutest thing. The best part of it all though was just hanging out with some great photographers and now I can say some great friends!

I have a feeling you are going to know who Emily is one day

Tim was super cool all day

Mariah was so much fun and so sweet

We actually had a baby to photograph as well. This is Miss Kate.

It was hard to do but I actually got a shot of Olivia not smiling.
