It is such an honor to be one of the featured blogs on Mary Hansen's new blog of photography blogs. Be sure to check it out for some great reading and some unbelievably great photography. I'm still not sure why she picked me to be #2 but I have to say it does feel nice that people are recognizing my work. It must be my pictures becasue there's no way it could be the written content. I'm stoked either way.
Oh by the way, I'm in the Bay Area in California but I'm willing to travel, especially to Hawaii or Fiji.
I love how chubby babies get before they really start to crawl. They start to eat a lot but they can't crawl yet so they have no way of burning off all those calories. It's so great. I know, I can crawl, walk and even run occasionally so what's my problem? This is Mr. L and I think he's the cutest little big guy! I had a great time shooting him with his mom and dad in their beautiful home. Oh yeah, dont ask me how I know this but dad looks like a buff version of Bruce Lee with his shirt off so I think Mr. L has nothing to worry about.
Did everyone get what they asked for from Santa this year? In our house Santa tends to buy himself everything he wants anyways but really, we have had the greatest two presents in the world for the last year and a half. Here are a few shots of our little girls enjoying their second Christmas. The highlights were tricycles, toy cameras and a potty seat. I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
Grandma was nice enough to come over last night and watch the girls so Mr. and Mrs. Claus could go out and finish our Christmas shopping. We had a fun night in Toys r Us and I think I bought more stuff for me than I did for them. That's pretty typical though. After shopping we stopped into Chevys for chips and salsa, dinner, and a nice beverage to celebrate being done with Christmas shopping. Here's a snap from my point and shoot that I over processed the crap out of. Cheers!!
Yesterday I spent a long day and night in the hospital waiting for baby Lyla to be born. She finally showed up at 3:50am early this morning. Congratulations Todd and Erica and welcome Lyla! You're absolutely beautiful!
Miss F is 2 1/2 years old and she is very very fast. I had a lot of fun chasing her all over the place with my camera. She definitely had a different agenda for the day than getting her picture taken but that's why my job is so fun. Thanks guys it was a blast.
