The back alleys of P. Town

I had such a fun time running around the back alleys of Pleasanton shooting one of my favorite families. We found some fun little nook and crannies and even the middle of a street to shoot in. Thanks guys for not thinking I was totally crazy, just kind of crazy.

This is probably my favorite family portrait that I have taken. I almost convinced them to use it as their holiday card but a certain person in this photo, i'm not going to say who, didnt like that idea. Well guess what Curt, now it's here for everyone to see. Ha...

The best thing about Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love everything about it, the food, spending time with family, hanging out watching football, even the parade is okay, I guess. But by far the best part about Thanksgiving is the turkey sandwiches at every meal for the following few days after Thursday. Here are a few of my creations from the long weekend.

The Classic: Turkey, mayo, sliced white bread or sourdough.

The Deluxe: Turkey, mayo, sliced whole grain wheat bread, tomato, avocado.

Just a walk in the park

I had a fun morning chasing little Miss M. around all over the place. Toddlers are so much fun when all they want to do is walk. Miss M. probably walked about a mile looking at her shoes each step of the way. We really had a lot of fun.

I'm going to be an uncle!

I'm going to be an uncle for the first time and I couldn't be more excited. I got out with Erica and Todd to get some shots of Erica's belly before my niece shows up sometime next month. We had a great time and as always a lot of laughs.

Bodie ghost town

I spent this past weekend in Tahoe with a few of the fellas and I decided to take a small detour on the way up. I drove about an extra hour to visit Bodie California. Bodie is a ghost town that was the site of a huge gold rush in the late 1800's. In 1880 Bodie had a population of 10,000 people and was at one point the second largest town in California. At that time it was a real old west town with gun fights and everything. They stopped mining in the early 1900's and a fire destroyed most of the town in 1932. Only 5 percent of the original town is left standing in a state of "arrested decay". Basically they keep things from falling down but things are as they were when people left. It's an interesting place to walk around and spend the day.

These little guys are twin brothers Adam and Sam. Mom and Dad decided to tag along on their photo shoot as well. Thanks Adam and Sam, I had a lot of fun with you guys. Oh, and I hope Mom likes the pictures.
