Courtney and Wais - Engaged

These crazy kids are engaged and I'm heading down to Monterey to shoot their wedding today.  It's going to be such a fun time and I cant wait to capture their special day.  I thought I should post these engagement pictures before the actual wedding.  Stay tuned for some pictures from today.

San Francisco Zoo

We headed up to the San Francisco Zoo and spent a few hours walking around checking out all the animals. The girls had a blast so I think we will be heading back soon. I enjoy them so much and I love spending time looking at the world through their eyes. It's so fun to see what they see for the first time and to share in their wonder and excitement.

The funny thing is Addison is calling everything Daddy or Mommy for some reason. Looking at the gorillas she said "Look, that's you Daddy!". She said the same thing at the grizzly bear but I said "no, that"s Mommy". She then went and pulled Alicia over to show her and yelled out as loud as she could "Look, that's you Mommy!!". The other people in the crowd thought that was pretty funny. I said "I taught her that".

Brynn was not as excited but still had fun.

Samantha

Okay, hopefully nobody will mind if I take a break from posting pictures of baby Brynn to get back to some regularly scheduled programming. This little cutie is 1 year old Samantha. I did Samantha's newborn shots and I always enjoy going back to spend time with her family. I had fun playing trains and cars with her and her older brother. Last time he was so timid and shy that I had had to include a picture of him now.

My photographer friend Alisha Robertson from Atlanta came out and spent the weekend with us and we all had a blast. She is an amazing photographer and it was so fun to see her work her newborn magic while taking pictures of my own newborn baby. We also took a day trip down to Monterey to check out the aquarium and do some family shots around Cannery Row. Poor Alisha froze her butt without the 1000% humidity she is accustomed to in Georgia.

Day 7, 8, and 9

I just wanted to post a few more pictures from Brynn's first week of being home. It's been so much fun having a newborn again and I have to say that having one is soooo much easier than having two. The twins are doing great and we have been having so much fun together. We had a big camping trip in the backyard the other night that was a lot of fun. Stay tuned for some pictures of that adventure.

Day 5, 6, and 797

I cant believe that tomorrow our new baby is going to be 1 week old already. I know this newborn time will be over before I know it and I'm trying to do my best to enjoy it as much as possible while trying to keep the twins entertained. With all of that I'm finding it difficult to do some real newborn photos of baby Brynn and she hasnt exactly cooperated the way I would like just yet. I blame her mother. Here she is from day 5 and 6. Oh, and a special guest appearance by miss Morgan.

Big Sisters!

We came home from the hospital today and everything is going great. I went and picked up the girls and brought them to the hospital to meet their new baby sister before we left. Baby Brynn, Day 3

We are enjoying our last night in the hospital trying to rest as much as possble while enjoying are new baby girl. It's been a nice and relaxing weekend and Brynn has been doing great. She's feeding great and already gaining some of her weight back. We will be headed home tomorrow morning and I cant wait for the twins to meet their new baby sister. I'm going to go home in the morning and pick the girls up and bring them back to meet baby Brynn. Then we will all go home together as one happy family. I hope anyway.

It's a Girl!

We are so excited to welcome our new baby girl, Brynn Paige Deboe. She was born at 5:58pm and weighed 7lbs 10ozs and is 19.5 inches long. She is so beautiful and look just like her big sisters.

Things are going to be different

Starting today things are going to be different. I am so excited to welcome our new baby into the world and I can't wait to meet him/her. At the same time I can't believe it's not going to be just the four of us anymore. I can't believe that it's been over two years since we first met our beautiful little twin girls. It still feels like yesterday but I can't remember what life was like before they were here. And now they are going to be big sisters! I know their new life as big sisters is going to be hard for them, frustrating, unfair at times, at least for a little while. They have only known life with 100% of the love given to them from Mommy and Daddy. Now they will have to share. I hope they understand. I also know that they are going to be the most amazing big sisters a baby could ask for. They are going to love the new baby and I can't wait to watch the three of them grow up together!

In The City

I had a great time photographing this super cool family in downtown San Francisco. Sebastian is the older brother and Nico is the the little guy. Sebastian cruised all over the city like he owned the place and Nico is the most smiley little dude. Thanks guys I had a great time hanging out with you. Oh, and thanks again for dinner!

Baby Zoey, 8 days

This is baby Zoey at 8 days old. Doesn't she look so comfortable snuggled in my little bowl? She has big brother and sister twins that I cant wait to photograph. Congrats Mom and Dad, baby Zoey is beautiful!

Owen and Caleb, but who's who?

Owen and Caleb are just the cutest little guys. Believe it or not they are actually twins. Haha.

This was their second birthday and they wanted to celebrate the big TWO by running all over the place.

Baby #3 on board

We are coming down to the wire with baby #3 with a little over a week to go. We are trying to get everything in our life ready and organized before it gets here but it feels like we are fighting an uphill battle. When we had the girls we planned and got ourselves ready for 9 months straight, shopping, building a nursery, etc etc etc... With this one we have done exactly.... nothing. We started to talk about packing a bag for the hospital in case #3 decides to check out early but that hasn't even happened yet. Decided on names yet? Not even! It's crazy what having two crazy kids running around can do to the rest of your life. That's okay though, they are my life so i wouldn't change a thing. I'm sure Baby #3 will appreciate the chaos. He or She can thank it's big sisters when it gets here. Speaking of "it", it's sooo weird not knowing the sex. We have no idea.

A couple of weeks ago we got out and did a quick little maternity session with Alicia and the girls. I figured i should post some of these before i post #3s newborn pictures.

Ethan and Sarah

This is Ethan and Sarah. We had a lot of fun exploring together and looking for fun places to shoot. Sarah was little shy at first but warmed up after a few silly faces. Ethan was a crack up telling me all about dinosaurs and other animals. Again, a lot of pictures to hopefully make up for my lack of posting. Enjoy!

Ron and Diane - Married

I had the opportunity to travel down to San Diego to shoot Ron and Diane's very intimate wedding a few weeks ago. The wedding took place at a gorgeous home over looking the shores of La Jolla. The view was absolutely amazing and it really was a great spot to get married. I'll post a lot of shots here to hopefully make up for my lack of posts these last few weeks. Ron and Diane, congratulations!!

Birthday Girls, Addison and Morgan turn the big 2!

It's about time to get the blog train rolling again, don't you think? I have taken a little blog break so I have a lot of things to post in the next couple of days. It wouldn't be right though if I don't start off with my baby girls second birthday. The girls turned the big 2 on June 29th and of course we had a little party. It was mostly for the presents but the company was nice also. I didn't really take too many pictures as I was just trying to hang out with the girls and enjoy them as much as possible on their big day. It's amazing how fast these past two years have gone by. Two years ago Alicia and I were wondering what they were going to look like, how our life was going to change, would we ever be able to sleep in again? Well, two years later I can say that I couldn't imagine our life without these two little girls in it. They have changed everything in our life for the better, and I couldn't be happier to have Addison and Morgan as my two awesome daughters. Oh, and the not being able to sleep in part still sucks.

Newborn Twins

Newborn twins!! Samuel and Benjamin are just the cutest identical twin boys and I had the pleasure of taking their newborn pictures. This is such a special time, not to mention exhausting, for new parents. It was fun to spend time with these sweet little guys and their Mom and Dad and that brought back a lot of memories for me. My girls are going to be 2 this coming Sunday but I can remember those first few weeks of having newborn twins like it was yesterday. I remember just doing what we had to do to get through the days and nights. Feeding one baby at 3am for an hour just to have the other wake up at 4am for it's hour long feeding followed by the first baby waking up at 5am and on and on. There are hard times, but they go by very fast. Before you know it you will have two 2 year olds running around, talking like crazy, and just generally getting into everything they see. So to Mom and Dad, enjoy it, they grow fast, time goes by even faster, and it just gets more and more fun. Hopefully these images of your baby boys together will always help you remember this special time in their lives and yours.

Happy First Day of Summer

I hope everyone enjoyed their first day of summer. We drove up to Pleasanton to enjoy music in the park and watch the first day of summer fireworks display. The temperature at 6:30 was 100 degrees so I know it finally is summer time. I always enjoy trying to photograph fireworks because you just never know what you're going to get when you download the shots. Here's one of the shots I liked. Stay cool everyone.

Our new pantry, coming soon

We have a long list of things that we want to get done before the new baby arrives sometime at the end of August or the beginning of September. Some are simple and easy while some others are much larger projects. This pantry has been something we have been meaning to do for awhile so it's nice to finally get started and making progress on it. So this is what I've been up to on my birthday and fathers day weekend. Happy Fathers Day to me! Actually the girls have been great and are totally getting good at running the power saw and nails guns. That's okay right? Stay tuned for some pictures of the finished project soon.

Pool Party

Here are a couple shots from my bro in-law Todd's birthday pool party. The girls were pretty excited about their rashguard swimsuits and my favorite niece Lyla was stoked about her first swim.

Cutest kid ever?

This is Jackson and he might be the cutest kid ever. He was so happy and smiley for our whole shoot. He had the funniest little laugh too that had me cracking up.

We're back

My awesome web host had this site down almost all weekend. Sorry about
any inconvenience this may have caused. At the very least it was
annoying. Hopefully things are fixed for good now.

And because I hate posting without a picture, here's an iPhone shot of
me and Addison from our big day out on Saturday. I took her to get her
glasses adjusted and then we went to lunch and shopping. It's so weird
only having one of the girls. It's easier, but weird.

Gorgeous Family

This was a fun session with a gorgeous family. This was little Miss B's 6 month session, isn't she the cutest? I also had a lot of fun chasing her older brother around trying to capture him doing his thing. My favorite part was when he started to mimic what I was doing by laying on the ground and pretending to take pictures of me. It was a crack up. Thanks guys and enjoy your sneak peak.

Just a stroll with Mr. A.

I took a stroll through downtown with Mr. A the other day. Here's a few shots of Mr A. in action rockin his new found skill of walking. I have a feeling he'll be running at full speed in about two weeks. Thanks guys I had a great time!

Bodega Bay

We had a nice little get away up the coast this weekend to Bodega Bay. We rented a house with a bunch of friend's right on the 8th hole of Bodega Harbor Golf Links. Unfortunately I didn't get to play golf but it was a nice and relaxing weekend. It was nice to hang out with my girls and friends and family with no real plans other than to relax. Trying to keep two almost two year olds entertained all weekend is a little less than relaxing but we had a great time anyway. Here are a few snaps I took just for fun.

It was really fun to spend a lot of time with my niece Lyla all weekend. She is so cute and smiley and has the cutest little giggle.

S. Family

The S. Family came all the way from the east coast to visit family, San Francisco, and Yosemite. They also hired me to take their family pictures. It's hard to compete with the rest of their itinerary but I sure had fun hanging out for a few hours and snapping some shots. Thanks for letting me be a part of your vacation!

First Haircuts

The girls have grown some really awesome looking mullets over the last 22 months. We finally decided to give up on waiting for the rest of their hair to catch up with the back so we took them to get their first haircuts over the weekend. Heres a little slideshow of some of the snaps I took.
